Man I want Hardware so bad nice one.
Pate, it's a terribly fun and atmospheric listen. I forget how immersive it is almost every time I spin it. It's also very much a product of it's time which of course I have no issue with.
One day I hope to track down a copy or maybe one day Varese Sarabande will finally issue it on vinyl with the proper art. Is this version expanded? If so I would probably need both.
A very nice release indeed even if it is missing this doozy from the VS original.

I like the look of that thing. Maybe I should get one of those.

To be clear for anyone uninitiated, the Boswell expanded Hardware contains none of the (three? four?) proper soundtrack tunes from the VS release. This is all the Boswell score.

I've been perstering my Forever Midnight podcast buds to tackle the entire franchise, like they did with their F13 special, to give me perfect excuse to rewatch. They did a hilarious commentary a while back for Freddy's Revenge (the only one that I saw in the theatre as a youngling!)

quick story time

Summer 2003, the north east black out, mid august. for those who don't know or weren't there basically we went dark from like Ontario to southern New Jersey for about 2 days. 2 VERY HOT days lemme tell you. The only thing I had to entertain my then teenage self was my fathers laptop which had the at-the-time luxury of a dvd player in it. I don't recall how the battery managed to last this long, but I managed to get through NOES 1,2 and a shade of 3 in my bedroom lit only by candle light (which didn't help the heat) before it died. it made the night pretty tolerable.

Wow! Oof, a slap in the face for breakfast, figuratively speaking.
Well actually why not?

In any case enjoy!
Videodrome is high on my wantlist of VS grails, probably on the top spot.

So beautiful.... even the gf had to pop her head in and comment 'what's this? It's lovely'. Then making an ugh noise and 'oh really?? That's a surprise...' when she saw the title/sleeve. Classic Gizzi fast-one ;)
