@ Bez I only have a small handful of anime scores. It's one of those genres I've neglected in order to save money. :) I really do need to track down a copy of Vampire Hunter D though.

I think I only have the two scores you played. Oh no, I have a Japanese Devil Man and a couple of Lupin scores as well.
At the end of the nineties I believe Jonathan Ross had a series about Japan on BBC and he programmed a lot of those classic animes for us to watch. I taped a lot of them on VHS before buying them on DVD in the early 2000s.
Rouijin Z and Patlabor are the ones (next to Akira) that I remember loving most. And Ninja Scroll of course.

Hopefully the tigerlab reissue will be available soon. I only just received my subber copy this weekend. I was surprised it hadn't gone up for pre order on their site, I guess they are having pressing delays or something.

This also arrived last week, and sounding great!

Yes, this era, around Akira's Western release was my introduction to anime here in the UK, and to have it on TV was a blessing as it was an expensive interest back then. Jonathan Ross did some great stuff in those days. He introduced me to Jodorowsky.

My main B&O deck isn’t functioning properly anymore. It needs a major overhaul. It wasn’t playing at 45 rpm correctly for a long time but now there are more issues . Most of WWs releases seem to be at 45 so no is a good time to revisit those on my second player.

This is a terrific score that I only bought because ScoJo was a fan. I don’t think I have seen the movie yet.

I highly rec'd this film, in a double bill with Always Shine, another terrific recent psychological horror between two women.

Yes, this style of morricone is probably my favourite, reminds me a lot of metti Una Sera a cena.

There is a phasing/delay in some of the tracks, noticeable in the percussion, I'm assuming this is
intended, and in the og. I can't seem here it in the YouTube rip though.

Another movie I have only seen once and I believe I did not care for that much at the time. Or was expecting more. Should revisit it.

Oh man, I love Drag Me To Hell. It's such a fun film and it was wonderful to see Sam have fun in the horror space again after all the big studio action stuff. Don't think I've ever listened to the score though

Bruno Nicolai - Justine

I was listening to this beauty last night. Thanks to @tex for hooking me up with this and a few other records.
