Lovely album. I don’t think I’ve spun my Mongo reissue since first playing it, should probably sling it in the ‘sell’ pile.

What do you think of Things @bez?
I just finished the first disc and I really love it. There are some very lo-fi sounding songs and bit of dialogue together with some really good sounding pieces of the score. It is a terrific listen because of the variety.

I could definitely see some people not liking it due to the audio snippets and goofy songs but I think it works so well. I'm seeing quite a few people say they really love it though so that's good.

Some new Morricone landed this week. Listened to the first LP last night and really enjoyed it

I think @bez posted about it a few weeks ago in the new releases thread. Not a score I was familiar with but it's early 70's Morricone which usually means you just buy it haha. I'll say it's pretty typical of the era for his output. I'm hoping to spend some more time with it this weekend. I had it on while making dinner last night so it wasnt' getting my full attention.

I believe your on the EU side of the pond so here's a link

If I'm remembering incorrectly and you are stateside then Dusty Groove has copies.
