"Interestingly", having only listened to the score again last night, Beyond the Gates was on UK TV last night. I fell asleep during it (it was late), but I think the score is better than the film looked like it was going to be. I'll try arch the rest of it over the weekend.

Finally knocked this one off my VS wishlist, after you wouldnt believe how many failed attempts (was beginning to think I was cursed on this one!) And as a bonus it's in great shape and managed to score it for £20 - yay for me! Oh, and what a quirky, pretty little score it is - having never spun my WW reissue I might just move it on i think

Oh... there's a fairly long list brother! ;)

Currently I'm toying with whether to finally upgrade my Coliseum THE FOG for a nice looking VS edition I've spotted. That's one that I had in my collection as a 14yr monster kid, and someohow over the years it escaped :( Another big one is upgrading (or actually, adding to) my American International Pictures edition of THE DUNWICH HORROR with the gorgeous VS version. That one doesn't come cheap though! And one of these days, I'd really like to snag all five volumes of the TWIIGHT ZONE scores. This is all just the tip of the iceberg however ;-D

@scojo, I have and love all 5 Twilight Zone LPs. I feel like those show up cheap on eBay from time to time? I know I got half of mine there for like $12 each (a couple of years ago, but still).

Cannot recommend OG VS The Fog enough! Beats the other two versions I have, for sure.

Love those twilight zone lps also, I'm still chasing a couple of them.

I hate to think how many ost lp releases Varese put out, but I'm guessing it's a big number.

The kicker with The Fog is that the Coliseum and Varese are essentially the same - same masters, though diff pressings/stampers, same front sleeve (diff back sleeve design), so musically there's not much point upgrading.... except I need that VS hole filled haha!
