Thanks Pete ! Hopefully you get a second chance on them. Surf Nazis is very good. I have to track which box my copy is stored in to give it a spin too.

In the meantime, this Cipriani is most likely the past spin for me tonight.

Cipriani is one of my favorites and I'm pretty sure I own more records of his than any other composer.

Check these 2 out.

How is the 2xLP of that Concorde Affair? That seems to be easier to find than the one you’ve posted. (I don’t have either, and I figure I should rectify that.)

They really nailed that cover art. I mean... If they were going for a folder of music sheets and exercises that you'd have to buy at school when you're 12 for your music class kind of look. They nailed that.

I think Metralleta Stein is the first Cipriani I ever bought so it's special. If you like exotica horror, cannibals and jungle stuff, I really like The Great Alligator and Papaya. And you can't go wrong with the soundtracks he made for Mario Bava.

But to be honest, I feel like I'm leaving out great stuff here like the Death Walks on High Heels Giallo OST and the stuff he made with Goblin like Bloodstained Shadow ...

EDIT: And obviously, PIECES is a no brainer

The AMER 10" is great and has a couple of his all-time banger Poliziotteschi themes!

I think Metralleta Stein is absolutely fantastic and I'll also second Scott's rec of Amer. You can probably guess my favorite Cipriani style.

I've always loved this score and film, but my esteem for it has swelled further still since having it on a black circle.

I've had a high-res rip of the full score for ages and never felt compelled to purchase the slimmed down version on LP, but a buddy of mine gave me a copy of this RSD release when he ended up with one too many after a recent purchasing spree. Finally getting around to spinning it now.
