I was going to pass on this. $40 for basically 1 lp (I'll never play the 2nd lp) was just too much. Then this popped up on ebay, new, for $25 so I said "sure, I can do that". I sounds really great and surprisingly quiet for a waxworks release. Wonder if the new sonic cleaner and AI fluid had anything to do with it. :)

MANA (Secret of Mana Recreated) - Jammin' Sam Miller

This one is fantastic. Secret of Mana is one of my favorite video game scores and this recreation is stellar. It's really cool to hear these in fully uncompressed samples. The music feels so much bigger

Gotham '95 - Jesper Kyd

The score to The Adventures of Batman & Robin Sega Genesis game. This score is nuts, has no right being this good. It's on the same level as Streets of Rage 2 with pushing the FM chip in weird and different ways that most game composers were not doing at the time

I think it's a pretty nice set. Obviously it's actually not complete but it's still more than we had prior to the release so I'll take it. Pressing sounds good, although I just have the standard pressing not the subber variant

Second disc is now spinning and I have to say it sounds really good. It appears to have a very nice dynamic range. Bass sounds really good. It is a very nice listening experience.
