Check out Canter too if you get a chance. Amazing production from a really tight synth band.

Yeah last year I could keep up with most releases, this year I don't think I've been able to buy half of them, they are coming so fast. Haha. Nice work @burningtapes, you guys are having a killer year.

Don’t worry, next year will be a kinder schedule. Plus different subscriber model. 2nd half of this year we got back logged over the summer and had to keep up with contracts. Just one last release this year - Satanic Panic in Dec.

It's a new film that came out last month, directed by Chelsea Stardust and is the second Fangoria film to be released under it's new leadership. It's quite fun and I highly recommend checking it out. The score was done by Wolfmen of Mars.

I'm so-so on the Wolfmen. They are very cool, but I don't reach for their LPs often. Also, while I really enjoy horror comedies and will almost certainly check this out, it looks pretty vapid. I got very excited when I heard the title and it immediately conjured my love for the flawed yet wonderfully ambitious House Of The Devil.

Vapid is an excellent choice of adjective, MS. It's got that flavour of LA horror that, like so much I see (which isn't hateful, but does nothing for me... of recent examples, see Dead Wax also) whose whole existence is due to fact that there's an audience for 'this sort of thing', rather than there's much talent involved, or they have anything new to say/add to the genre. I call it the 'look how cool I'm directing, guys!' school. Although I will always give benefit of doubt to new horror, it's almost always a bust for me. The first poorly-concieved/lazily shot five minutes of Satanic Panic is a particularly tough hump to get over, but it does get better/have it's moments.

The film is every bit as amazing as you've no doubt heard.

Interesting design treatment by SB - has a very 'Mongo' feel about it.
