Thought it would be good to have a new dedicated thread for mixes and podcast etc

My man Gareth has done this incredible mix for NTS radio , his show is essential

https://www.mixcloud.com/NTSRadio/cherr ... july-2015/

He has the best collection of Library tracks I think I have ever seen , first half is more song based the second half is pure heat and the whole thing is pretty amazing.

Good thread. Will give that NTS mix a listen at work today.

Spencer I know you mentioned doing a library mix for one of your events that ended up not happening, would love to hear what you had in mind for that.

Here's the one I did a couple nights ago, nothing preplanned was just grabbing stuff off shelves as I went..

Great thread idea, thank you.

@Texas - checking out your mix today.

I'm sure a certain percentage of this board are active or retired DJ's, myself included.

Think the event @Texas is talking about is possibly the Strange Colour of Your Body's Tears re-score screening earlier this month at which both Spencer and Blanck Mass were billed to DJ, but were prevented from doing..?

Spencer teased a set of Italian tunes I believe :)

I'm not sure how to make this a new thread, so please feel free to place it in the appropriate place.

On Ep. 9.5 of the Damn Fine Podcast, composer Craig Safan mentioned a forthcoming Nightmare on Elm Street soundtrack set coming out from a record label named "Perez." I can't find anything on the web for "Perez" or the set. Does anyone here have any info? Thanks.

Hey @brad - I'll ask @TAG about this for you, he seems to know about that stuff :)

Lol mixcloud is not helping with the mystery mix by auto-tagging the tracks! It only got a few though, can the board outsmart the computer?

A little something I did for a friend of mine. Every year he participates to a race across the Alps : 5 days, 5 nights, no sleeping... So he needs something to stay awake:

Bam! For synth-heads and fans of the Turbo Kid movie and Le Matos' score - an incredible sounding mix by all three of the movie's directors... tracks by Tangerine Dream, Moroder, Chattaway and more...

Enjoyed that, thanks for posting. Got a chuckle at the song from the “Would you fuck me?” scene from Silence of the Lambs.

What is the cover of Wicked Game at the end with the woman who sings like Miss Piggy before screaming like she's being stabbed?

Found it! It's by a Swiss band named Les Reines Prochaines under the title 'Opfer dieses Liedes'. Seems to have been done as a collaboration with the visual artist Pipilotti Rist, but it's usually credited entirely to one or the other which is kind of confusing.

Such an amazing cover.
