i'm sure most of you have seen Cinedelics new output. they keep us very busy and the quality of their previous releases has been outstanding. love the download code, the ultra thick sleeves and the liner notes for Physicians. also the idea of doing these individual sleeves as a hommage to the old Fonit covers is brilliant!

will pass on a few because my pocket are flat as usual. the two libraries are essential though. as rare as it can get. the Free Jazz sold on ebay for hundreds of dollars recently and it is a good record indeed. also really hope to see more Ayna stuff being released in the future. this stuff is beyond rare...

i don't know if this has been mentioned before. this is in the Finders Keepers pipeline currently:

http://www.finderskeepersrecords.com/sh ... ilisation/

basically this seems to be a fun compilation of all Kema (pseudonym of Alessandronis wife Giulia) written tunes for the Alle Sorgenti Delle Civiltà series on Folkmusic (and later on St Germain Des Pres). tribal, ethnic and somehow spiritual stuff.

these records are easy to find but i don't know how it sounds like when listening to all of them in sequence. this is why i mentioned this being a fun record. i bet the liner notes are going to be great as usual with FK.

***EDIT***

ok, now i have realized that the FKrecord features only 8 of the 9 songs from the series which is very odd...

don't want to mess around but is anybody else feeling Sonor are becoming quite pricey? they record the music from vinyl instead of using masters. the covers are straight copies from original sleeves and they are far from fancy. no liners, no inserts, no stickers , no nothing.
i mean i appreciate the effort as they release some jewels but the recent prices and quantities being pressed up made me think...

Yes, too pricey and the postage is way too much right now. I just can't get excited over library music at the moment with my last Library purchase being the fantastic Zoo Folle. I think my attitude has changed slightly over the months, there's just so much dross being released at the moment. Absolute classics in Library music and soundtracks that are well overdue official releases are ignored whilst (insert numerous titles of obscure horror film soundtracks you'll listen to probably twice here) are released. I've really enjoyed the Vinyl Factory's end of year lists for 7", 12" and LP formats, and have discovered some real gems that way, releases that have care lavished on them and deserve to be showcased on vinyl. But good releases seem few and far between currently (in my opinion).

exactly so @Vapor! i think the market is being overwhelmed right now. unfortunately quantity over quality sometimes. i was planing to get one of the latest Sonor batch but with todays release frequency rate cherry picking is the order of the day...

time to bring this thread to life again, lol...

the classic Nick Ingman ‎– Big Beat album get's a (hopefully) proper reissue by Modern Harmonic. still so many people who are after this. i was always wondering who will do this job.

can't judge on the label overall but i have the Sun Ra Exotica album from them and it is sublime...

Just picked up big beat.
I would recommend this to anyone interested. It's a nice loud pressing.
