playing this mighty jewel right now. one of Santuccis and Lesimans strongest records in my opinion. a fantastic session and a record that i might pull out if somebody would ask me what a italian library records is. incredibly thick Pinto pressing, bold sleeve design, covering all the right genres from easy lounge to jazz and even some funky rock, one obligatory merciless dixieland tune in between all those solid bangers and Renosto and Santucci switching from their real name to their pseudonyms between every single track. yes, this record has it all...
I'm pretty sure this has been brought up before but does anybody know what the quality is on that German bootleg of Woman's Colours? I found a copy for under $50 that I will grab if it's decent. I know there's that comp that has a bunch of the music on it from this release but people want $120+ for that comp these days.

I had it and decided I needed an OG (yellow cover, not the greenish grey one).
I guess it sounds *ok* but it is definitely mono, not stereo. That was kind of all it took for me to decide to sell it and acquire an OG.
Probably the most I ever spent on a record, but it was on eBay and was still hundreds less than they typically sell for on Discogs so I felt like I was getting a steal.

Yeah, these KPMs are blowing my mind! I’m buying less these days because the average price of each record I’m buying has been a lot. But I know these KPM aren’t getting any cheaper, so I feel like I need to get them before they’re totally out of my price range!

I can't afford an OG at all. But it seems like you had a different boot than the one I am talking about. This is the pressing
I would skip fifth dimension titles. I forget which one they left an entire channel of audio out and then repressed it with the same error.
For Woman's Colours the comp is the way to go despite the price https://www.discogs.com/release/760435- ... ical-Sound
It does not have every track, and they are not in the same order, but it has almost all of them. Plus you get some tracks from The Tropicals- Urabamba which are fucking awesome like African Popcorn

Thanks for the info on Fifth Dimension. I'll skip it. That comp is too much for me so I'll just wait for a reissue, I saw in the comments section some one from Four Flies bitching about bootlegs ruining everything, maybe they'll reissue it at some point haha.

I feel like me spending $$$$ on the Woman’s Colors OG pretty much guarantees it’ll get a reissue, haha.
I think I heard rumblings about Four Flies doing it at some point after I bought it.

Hey again, there's this concept album that sounds like library exotica released last year. Some classical composer arranged some of the music on here and the band behind is Hiatus Kaiyote. I guess you can draw similarities to the new Dean blunts album, a bit like creating this unique sound using library influences.
Blue Sharks is back in stock at Dusty Groove. I picked up a copy off of HHV two weeks ago and it's stuck in limbo at the Fedex sorting facility 45 mins from my house. It's been just sitting for a week and has "pending delivery reschedule" as its status.

i really love the Marshmallow album, been listening to it very often on Spotify. would be great if they would press this up. such a lovely downbeat exotica style record!

Two new Sonor pre-orders are up. Unfortunately expected ship date is March. I was wondering why they were teasing them and it was radio silence for a bit, must be they had no idea when they would be pressed.
My copy of that shipped yesterday. My copy of Blue sharks is still sitting at a Fedex hub not doing a thing.

Cannot believe I finally got my hands on a copy of this at an affordable price.
Vinyl was supposed to be VG+ but it looks perfect and I played to me (and sounds that way too).

Holy hell that record is not cheap. Currently $450 on ebay with a recent sale of $285. Although looking at Discogs it seems that the astronomical price is only due to Covid as all sales prior to this year were under $200. Seems to be quite the snag @haver I'll be giving it a listen tomorrow on youtube.

It’s really a good one. I love how sparse it is.
It’s on Spotify too, so I have used this as driving music a lot lately.
I basically paid pre-covid price, after shipping from the UK. I kind of assumed it would be in even worse than VG+ shape, at that price, but I never thought it would be *better*.
