Nice ones some real gems on this label. There is another Lou Stein one I think called Mixed Bag that's good.

Today was joyful with some good news, so I pulled something special out to mark the occasion.

This has some of the very best beats and samples ever. But it's kind of boring isn't it, if we're really being honest. These are beats more than compositions.

I would not run away from a copy with surface marks if it sounds nice, but this copy really doesn't sound good at all.

I think you might be right though, cover looks mighty nice.

I'll hang onto my golden pavilion
Agreed, I always felt this was an over rated library, aside from the track that Madlib sampled, which is amazing. it's good but not that good.

i don't know if these scuffs are "incurable".
the audio clip is bad, but i'm sure it needs to be cleaned a lot.

i have never bought from lorenzo but i assume he does not clean the record before selling it.
am i wrong?

if the scratches are not deep, it could be recoverable, but i don't see photos so who knows!
i would be surprised to know that anyone can buy a record in this condition, at that price, without being able to clean it professionally.

recently i bought a vg\vg+ with scuffs:
https://we.tl/t-LegrrPseVp

and with the Kirmuss cleaner sounds like that:
https://we.tl/t-4z8FFcaK8F

i am always optimistic even with the records a little damaged

that said, i really don't understand the hype for records being used by famous producers.
i'll never understand why everyone is competing for these copies by paying a lot to show it.
however, everyone spends the money as they want!

Nice cover of feel like makin love @elifunk who is it by?

I Really want to try an ultrasonic cleaner, I have an okki nokki.
I find cleaning also brings out more detail and clarity aside from getting rid of crackle.

I know a lot of buyers prefer not to have their records cleaned and do it themselves, Ive recently received a record that was poorly cleaned and the seller had just rubbed the dirt deep into the grooves :( hopefully the okki nokki will resolve it.

Best record, worst mastering! Have to get very creative with the EQ to make this sound right.

Walk Slow is the best. Second track in the below video starts at 2:36. I guess we can't embed time-stamped videos.

Didn't get these in the early days and figured I never would. Maybe patience will bring volume 1. Price was pretty decent, I initially had willpower but a price drop made it impossible. First record I've bought in a while except for a couple of VGM bootleggy things.

I've been listening to the Schema reissue LP and CD lately. This original has better clarity and less distortion.

A fellow VGM nut :) if I’m honest 2020 record buying has been dominated by Vaporwave, but Library and Sun Ra and VGM have all had their fair number of entries on my shelves. Thank goodness for the postal service and music ❤️ Love this record but I’m a heathen and will make due with my schema repress. Your og cover looks gorgeous and the record probably sounds lovely. Congrats!

Fantastic record - congrats, Texas! I used to have a compilation on CD which had most of the content from Vol. 1 and 2., listened to that a lot back in the days when I likely didn't even know what Italian library is all about. The OGs have been on my wantlist for a long time.

I saw one or two of these popping up recently on discogs and was very tempted. The seller Rarerecords Italy had one if I remember correctly, he sold off a huge chunk of his father's collection, lots of grails among those.

Need more coloursounds!

Got this one in the mail today. It has several decent euro progressive pop jazz type library tracks. The strings have a shrieky treatment that reminds me some of de Filippi. The last track Aquarius has a roy buddish vibe to the piano/bass line.

Hey @million!
You know, back when this was announced, they had no audio samples and I was skeptical so I didn’t order.

A few nights ago, I happened to stumble across it on Spotify and i was totally floored and instantly ordered it. Cannot believe how great it is. Really feel dumb for having waited to order because things aren’t getting here quickly from France, but oh well.
