I'm glad I added this to my order with Terror Vision a few weeks back. I actually like it better than Spookies. It's a lot darker than I thought it was going to be. Great score!

Going to need a couple of viewings before I understand the concept here, but looks fun :)

Reminded me of Pentagram Home Video playing out last Saturday using what looked like a fresh audio cassette for each track in his set, played through an 8-track mixer and then the audio from that manipulated and tweaked in real time... (it was dark & beer was consumed so can't be 100%)

I posted this in the Video Game OST thread, but it seems pertinent here as well:
Disasterpeace, of It Follows fame, is getting a double cassette release today for his rather extensive score of the game Hyper Light Drifter by new label Bludhoney here: https://bludhoney.bandcamp.com/releases.

deafmetal wrote:@Bezulsqy - Those are all the Swiss tapes, correct? I have priced those out a few times, but have yet to commit to importing them all to the US. Please let me know what the quality is like on those. :)
According to Discogs the country is Switzerland, but on the back it has an address in Milan, Italy.
I am missing only the Profondo Rosso one. Got these in one batch for a very good price. The sound fine. Nothing special.
They do look nice together :-)

Our synth-based composer pal Robin Ogden (of All Hallows' fame) has a couple of very limited run self released tapes up for pre-order, musically depicting a nightmare of Ballardian proportions:

I was just coming here to post about Ogre Sound, but since Spun beat me to it, here's another killer tape just up for sale. Long sold out, this is the second edition of Panabrite's Disintegrated Landscape. Don't sleep, fools!

A heads up/reminder for fellow tape heads - for Cassette Store Day this Saturday (Oct 8th) we'll have two new limited, hand numbered tapes on sale.

These are a synth heavy soundtrack/ score for an imaginary film, plus Orgasmo Sonore's continued thrilling exploration of the musical stylings of the masters of film scoring and library music... so sure to appeal to most of us on this forum!

These will both initially be available from our Bandcamp, Norman Records and Two Headed Dog.

Eric Adrian Lee of DeathWaltz, Mondo, Giallo Disco fame has been kind enough to deliver stunning artwork once again.

"Burning Witches is proud and excited to present our very first cassette release from UK musician BurningTapes.

Hook-laden pulsing analogue synthesizers, ethereal guitars and hard drums create an electronic dark synth album inspired by the great and bad horror/Sci-Fi films of the 80s.

The album Blood Runs Dry will be available on limited edition hand numbered Blood Red cassette, digital download and extremely limited "Blood and Bones" archive box set edition. Only 5 hand numbered box sets will be available for sale, containing the cassette album and a number of select fine art Giclee prints. All cassettes come with digital download as standard.

Release date Friday 28/10/2016"

@max -

Sorry you felt the new release was on the pricey side. This is a one-off edition on physical format, and each
cassette package was created by hand (if that helps!? ;)

Thanks for ordering anyway chap, much appreciated...

Looking forward to checking out the Larva tapes here in the US. No complaints on the price considering the amount of material provided over two tapes, and all the work that went into the packaging. Well done, @ScoJo.

I was unable to make it to LA for the latest Rendezvous event with the Sonor Music crew, but I will be able to enjoy the vibe in spirit:
