The movie is actually my favourite so bad it's good flick. It has great locations, flying piranhas and Lance Henriksen - it's so much fun if you are in the right frame of mind.

@static - I listened to the album a couple of times. My A/B vinyl is just a bit warped but still sounds good. I am going to see if they will replace it. Quite an enjoyable and hypnotic album. The flexi is a fun novelty but was nearly useless on my turntable.

How is Kickboxer? I did not pick up a copy yet, but I’m currently rocking Kenji Kawai’s Devilman - Demon Bird OST:

Kaukolampi ‎- 1 LP

This is Timo Kaukolampi. I've posted some of the soundtracks, such as "Maria's Paradise" and "White Wall," that he's composed with Tuomo Puranen. He also composed the great (to me, anyway) score to a dance performance: "Station to Station to Station." This release is a bit more techno/dance-oriented than his soundtracks, but it still has a great throbbing, urgent pulse to it.

Static rocking the DOT re-recording... nice. I do actually dig these versions in their own right, not as intense as the film recordings but they have a more fun, 60s studio orchestra vibe to them.

Plus that original key art. Hot damn.
