I went on a tear with this guys stuff. i only have his BW release on wax but picked up a few others on bandcamp. so good.

I didn't realize theyhad a bunch of previous releases until the other day. I have the BW release as well (and now this one) but was surprised to see a bunch on the DD discogs page. I'll have to check it out.

Nice you were able to get this on vinyl. He puts his shit up for sale at 3am my time and always sells out before I get up. He then told me Mondo was getting a ton of them and that 2HD would no longer be carrying his labels product. Mondo sold out in minutes of putting up for sale so they most definitely didn't have a lot of them because his album from BWR is still in stock for months ago. He's not that popular. Then he proceeds to put up the next album for the label on his bandcamp only and is not allowing any US people to do distro because it's a "very requested" album. Now for me to order from his bandcamp the album costs $52. Not paying that for a single LP of a synth group I've never even heard of. I listened to the newest and it was a fine listen but not worth $50+ to me.
I did buy Death Walks on Nitrate on cassette and even that cost me $22 which is way too much for a cassette imo. I can get two Spun releases for $27 so I have no clue why he's charging so much. To add to that annoyance this album is what 16 minutes of music? It's barely an EP.

I was lucky enough to get this from Mondo. It is pretty short -- 45 rpm for seven tracks. It's good, but I wouldn't pay $50 for it (or the $200 that someone is selling it for on Discogs).

I'll agree with @hatter here, it's fantastic. It's actually my favorite album he's done. His record label, Library of the Occult has some other great releases too. In particular Ogre - IV: Gates of Nessus and Timothy Fife - Transcommunication. That Fife album is really fucking good.

I'll agree with @hatter here, it's fantastic. It's actually my favorite album he's done. His record label, Library of the Occult has some other great releases too. In particular Ogre - IV: Gates of Nessus and Timothy Fife - Transcommunication. That Fife album is really fucking good.

The Psychic Circle is good too if you enjoy that 70s era Moog driven band sound. Tom's in that band as well but it sounds quite different than the Dream Division stuff.

and that gif is Video Violence. pink with yellow splatter version. I sent an email to Mondo to ask if they've received other complaints with this pressing, and to ask if I can get a replacement.

I received my replacement copy of VIDEO VIOLENCE from Mondo. It's got the same issue : off centered pressing, making the needle sway back and forth. I don't like that it is pushing the needle laterally, it probably damages the needle faster than regular usage. But also, the grooves are not at the same distance from the center hold, when you compare one side to the other, so it's slightly detuning back and forth during a spin, right ?

I usually ask sellers to open a replacement copy and check it first before sending it to me, but they never do. When it seems to be a defective batch of records, I always go 2-3 times through replacement process, and they never check first to see if I'll have the same defect on the replacement copy. It's a waste of my time. Probably will return and not replace, and give up on getting Video Violence :(

I'd reach out to Terror Vision directly. He's usually great about stuff like this. If it's an off center pressing I can't imagine you're the only person who has an issue with it. That is a bummer if it has effected all copies pressed.

It very well might affect all copies. I have a sub version, and I noticed that mine has a lot of lateral movement. Maybe I'll post of the TV FB page and see what kind of response comes up.

This piqued my interest... I haven't listened to Laibach in 15 years or so. That movie also sounds very interesting...
