Bezulsqy wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 7:13 am I was expecting a more avantgarde sound or a more difficult listen, but it is not. At least not the first 2 records. I love the music.just a short reminder, many of the cues from this set were used for the Space: 1999 soundtrack, see also this release

They say: "Contemporary scores for visual effect" We say: Synth-heavy, low-slung space-funk masterpiece. This is it. This is THE ONE for us: Keith “The Man” Mansfield’s Vivid Underscores from 1977. A sample freak’s wet dream and one of Be With Rob’s favourite ever KPM records. A must for fans of Brian Bennett’s Voyage (yes, THAT good). And no, we’ve no idea either why it took us this long to get round to tackling this monster of a record. But then again some things are worth waiting for. With audio from the original analogue tapes remastered for vinyl and artwork restored from archive scans, this is another one ticked off the list of library records that should be out there for anyone who wants a copy.

I've got the promo copy not sure if that was the EU or US stamperThanks for checking. I'm hoping @bez and @havershaw can chime in about their copies. I'll upload a clip of what's happening with mine when I get home today
inksb wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 11:58 pm Well this is very odd. I feel like a similar thing happened to @scojo recently. I got home tonight and went to check out the opening of Natura Morta and record it, the distortion was much less, I replayed the opening 3 or 4 times and the distortion is pretty much gone now. Must have been some residue in the grooves left over from pressing process. Still plan on giving a good cleaning soon but I'm glad that awful distortion is gone.Good to hear this. I believe @ScoJo indeed experienced the same issue. I don't have the record so I can't check for you.

In the time since it's digital release I've already listened to it substantially more than his second album. My copy is lost in the mail. I haven't checked, is it still available from retailers? I picked up mine from rappcats.

That sucks it's lost in the mail, has it just not moved?
havershaw wrote: ↑Thu Aug 05, 2021 6:16 pm I thought the Rappcats pressing was the US one?I honestly have no idea. All I know is that Piano Piano announced there was a delay for the US pressing but EU was on track to meet it's original ship date. All US stores I saw it for sale in pushed their dates back but I ordered from Rappcats and got my pressing last week
