What a soundtrack this is. I only sampled one song on youtube before picking it up. It's fantastic.

@scojo what was the issue you were having with your copies? I seem to have some distortion in one or maybe both channels a few times through out the first few songs on side A.

Yep. Sporadic crackle in left channel, weird 'thump' distortion on the kick in right channel. I suspect its a pressing flaw, a real shame as i couldnt get past it/gave up after two copies :( Lovely music indeed

I did tweet at the distribution label and they replied, saying they had no other complaints about the issue - but would look into it. Not heard anything since then.

Think I'm destined to enjoy this one digitally for the time being. Damn, that opening track! <3 <3 <3

have you seen the film? I'm curious how propaganda-ey this is or is not given the era politically and that this is a true story

watching an interview now. wild stuff. it reminds me of the story of the priests that educated me. monitored constantly, secret police, catholicism crushed by the state. they had to escape soviet hungary and cross the iron curtain, very high risk, getting shot at, the works. someone should do a movie some day, it is an exceptional story and could make an exceptional film in the right hands.

I’ve seen it a number of times. I think the first time was in 95 in college, in a film melodrama class. Its actually pretty darn good.
