On black vinyl. Black as midnight. Black a pitch. Blacker than the foulest witch...

It could be no more black!

Hate to admit this, but I've never seen the film.

I think it's a love it or hate it movie. I saw it and wasn't overly impressed but my friend loved it. The release I saw had the Tangerine Dream score not the Jerry Goldsmith score. I have both scores on vinyl and much prefer Mr. Goldsmith's (not to take anything away from TD, huge fan). Glad to see the extended score coming to vinyl.

So were both TD and Jerry's scores used in theatrical release, or was one scrapped?

Personally I love the movie and both the Goldsmith and TD scores. :) I normally avoid double dipping, but I'll gladly be scooping this up for the extra cues!

@Jimmy_Mike Goldsmith's score was used in the European and world markets, the TD score was used in the US release.

New on Vinyl has this for pre-order :

http://www.newonvinyl.com/en/nightcrawl ... s-ltd.html
Strange Shadows, the latest EP from Nightcrawler, is a sonic tale of terror full of dark atmospheres. Inspired by the Italian Giallo & Horror cinema of the 80s. it contains 5 original tracks plus 1 remix from Umberto.
This release comes as a DOUBLE SAW BLADE SHAPED METALLIC COLOR 7" EP in a gatefold jacket.
One off pressing of 500 copies worldwide. No repress will be made. Note: 50 copies of the 500 pressing contain 1 saw-blade and 1 regular 7". This is the limited variant and will be inserted randomly.

Seems like OneWayStatic is going to release it, though no word from them yet.. Or did I mis this?

They (NoV) also have Deathproof up for order (for us europe people) !
(And the Coyote Ugly soundtrack for the real gem-collectors, includes a download card, BAM!)

That's good Layne ! The ones you grabbed are the ones that looks the best out of the 4. Did you get previous Contempo releases ? I know some of them had negative reviews.
