limited to 750

I'm short on extra cash at the moment, I'm hoping this sticks around for a little while but 750 seems like a small pressing batch for this.

I missed it also but was able to get a sealed copy, black vinyl, last year off ebay at the regular retail price.inksb wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2019 5:53 pm Jerry Goldsmith - Gremlins 2 OSTI'm still holding my breath for a repress of the first. I’m seeing a listing for the same product on US Amazon, but no release date. Same pics though.

One of the the BEST comedy scores ever composed, woefully under appreciated. I can’t wait!
Amazon US has it listed for a July release, just placed my order

ScoJo wrote: ↑Mon May 20, 2019 4:30 pm Ditto @deaf :) Tbh, I didn't realise there was a previous reissue... totally slept on that. That sounds like something I need. I've been listening Laurie Spiegel's The Expanding Universe and been looking for more analog synth drone type stuff.
Headsup, hauntology/Radiophonic/Delia freeks:
THE DREAMS: Delia Derbyshire/Barry Bermange
I have previous boot of this with screenprint sleeve (one of my treasured/most fav LPs actually) but that was pressed from mp3 files- I actually looked into releasing it officially (turns out Radiophonic archive/Mark Ayers do actually have tapes of it) but happy enough that someone is finally doing it up proper like. It's incredibly atmospheric electronic/tape drones, built around cut up spoken word of people recalling their dreams. Originally part of a BBC radio series in the 60s. Amazing stuff.
ScoJo wrote: ↑Mon May 20, 2019 5:07 pm That's the one, Inks. Thanks, I'm listening now. Any recommendations on albums similar minus the spoken word?
It's divided into tracks named things like 'Sea', 'Falling' and other dream tropes. I'm especially fond of 'Falling'. It's got an incredible atmosphere, some of DDs greatest work IMHO.
inksb wrote: ↑Mon May 20, 2019 5:25 pmHave you tried Eliane Radigue's "Trilogie De La Mort"? For me, this is utterly head-cleaning and beautiful.ScoJo wrote: ↑Mon May 20, 2019 5:07 pm That's the one, Inks. Thanks, I'm listening now. Any recommendations on albums similar minus the spoken word?

Dollarhyde wrote: ↑Mon May 20, 2019 5:21 pm @scojoYep. That track is from this LP, Dollar.
Nice heads up.
It reminded me of this spoken word LP I picked up years ago with a track that has radiophonic workshop backing (if I remember correctly)
People talking about what they think God looks like, track B8 ?

The entire 6-part radio series was entitled 'Inventions for Radio', with 'Dreams' being the episode with Delia's musical contribution.
(As an aside, the music project I did last year called IRIS has one section that I named Amor Dei, explicitly referencing that Delia track. Another piece I created was inspired by her music on another section of this LP. Yes, I really like it a lot ;)
