Still don't have the full release. That means I can only listen to side A and B... I do not have the test press for side C and D :-)
Sounds great though!

@frozeneyeball : thanks ! Indeed, good stuff on Inglourious Basterds, and it's one of my favorite Tarantino movies.

Was wondering what I was going to put on the plater just as the mail came in, it looks like I got my next three spins sorted out, thanks to Cometa :

In't this just a terrific soundtrack? What an inspired collection of songs...including those score cues by Brian Reitzel, that I always forget are him. Magic. Shame you only get Bill Murray's karaoke-Roxy on the CD :(

Stunning small scale chamber orchestral score for terrific show. Richter is the real deal alright.

Hippy dippy psychedelic space synth freakout!

Have a great weekend, my friends....

ScoJo - Love that Stenzel/Dune album. Brilliant stuff.

Nate - How are those new Cometas? I haven't checked out any samples yet.

Bez - I find myself intimidated by that thing you play your records on. I thought this was a safe space?

@frozen -

The only upside is the opportunity to spin a bunch of tunes. I do find the whole thing horrendously existential, tbh. Like going back through recent history...and thinking, 'how much did I spend on records that year??!' heh heh.

@Bez: Great spins!
I enjoy Basket Case much more than I thought I would. Bought the digital version on Bandcamp but think I'll "upgrade".
And Thief is an absolute winner. :) It's the Audio Fidelity version you have, right?

My tax bill woes are starting to feel a little better. This is The Henge, Steve Moore's debut (I think) and it's going down a treat with my gin and tonic.

Just prior to The Henge, I listened to this: the latest Pye Corner Audio (and first) remix album. It was really excellent and the standout tune for me was a remix by Clesse: the first ever release under this name by Jon Brooks (from the Ghost Box label, and the brains behind The Advisory Circle among others). Recommended.
