It wasn't all for naught, I did walk away with one record I've been after for a good while (The Fragile)

Le groupe X aka gianluigi pezzera's score for th e movie out off aka la cerimononia dei sensi
I'm getting similar vibes on this one to bloodstained shadow, however it's missing the banging main theme.

Would love to know if there was more work besides this LP and frrrrrigidaire by g pezzera. The guy comes up with some really interesting recording/electronic experiments intertwined into the music.
Superb!

Got my copy about two weeks ago. I live in France though. I'm sure you'll get yours very soon. The tracks are insane. A must have release, imo. Anyone who slept on this will regret not buying a copy. You can have a listen on youtube.

@million$ - I will have to check out Sortilegio. It looks very interesting. I wish I had a subscription to Four Flies. ;)

@Dollarhyde - Nice to see some DJ Cam vinyl on the turntable.

I have seen this film so many times that the scenes replay in my head when listening. Some big and dark orchestral numbers on this OST, along with a killer bombastic brass theme for Himuro Genma's crew of evildoers. Some interesting strings and woodwinds sprinkled throughout as well.

Black wisps in clear red vinyl looks neat, and is sounding good in my headphones:

Sortilegio is really good. Really damn good. The Alessandroni they just did is also good, but it should have been a double. Too quiet, very low output.

The latest two batches of Four Flies are on their way to mine. I'm in the ready position.

Reality Check is great. Part of a planned trilogy the second volume of which will supposedly appear in the first quarter of 2017.

Did not pay attention to this when it was announced because it is an imagined score. But this sounds really fun. Definetely will be getting this at one point.

Mosquito Coast is good ! I think this and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome might be the only 2 Maurice Jarre score that I have but I like them both.

I need to get a new copy, as this one is worn out from years of never leaving my DJ bag.
You and me both brother!

I just spotted the latest reissue for £12 in my local HMV, which has prompted me to seek it out online. A key record in my musical world.

What is this, Nathan? I can't make out the text, but is it a Kurosawa score? Godzilla? Something embarrassingly unrelated to my prior two guesses?

Yikes. I was waaaay off. I've never really gone in on MaVS. Perhaps I'll give it a stream whilst I prepare the leftovers.

Interesting / mixed bag release from Private. Disc one plays very disjointed kind of like Bloody Moon with no "flow" to the track selection and inclusion of some SFX from the film. Disc two is more cohesive but there are many vocals from the soundtrack rather than just the score. One is quite good, several I could live without.

Interesting, I was wondering about this one when I saw the anouncement for it somewhere a couple of weeks ago.

So Texas, are the vocals from the soundtrack longer dialog sections and sound effects in/during the music or is this before the music (i.e. intros like in the scores for most Tarantino films) ?

On Disc one there are some parts with sound effects/dialog within the tracks. And those tracks are kind of muted, like they took it straight from the film. Those tracks reappear in full and at full volume, sans SFX/dialog, on Disc 2, along with a couple longer variations of the Detto Mariano themes. I don't know if that makes sense.

Thanks for the clarification, this is good to know. I'm personally not a big fan of sound effects/dialog within the tracks (with some rare exceptions - I think it works very well in Mondo's Halloween).
