The film rubbed me the wrong way unfortunately, but the score is such a spooky listen for all sorts of reasons.

Hope you're all having a great day!

Love Chris Young....I'm very envious of your Haunted Summer! (What did you think of Sinister? His score was astonishing and truly disturbing!)

Ive never heard of Screamers but based on that artwork alone I need to find out about it! Did the simpsons do a parody of it once?

I'm not sure about a Simpson's parody.

If you've never seen it its got an interesting history. It was originally an Italian film called the Island of The Fishmen, and it was picked up for US distribution by Corman's New World. Corman thought the movie could be "improved" so he shot new scenes, inserted new characters, and changed the plot.

I remember as a kid renting Screamers and getting a free rental out of it when I returned it saying that none of the stuff on the box happened in the movie.

No one gets turned inside out, or anything even close. The score by Michelini is the original for Island of The Fishmen and is quite good actually!

Not enough love for Myers - his work with NIc Roeg is beautiful and needs releasing!

Lost this years ago, found a copy cheap this week - so great to have it back! Listening now, some of it has a real feel of Tangerine Dream!

No idea what this is like, but I dig his Inferno score so....and the cut-out sleeve effect sealed the deal (as well as the £1 price!) Always thought the film sounded worth a look too, with Sly, Billy Dee Williams and Rutger Hauer (who, since it's an 80s flick, has gotta be the bad guy right?)

Monster! :)

I love Gabriel's score for Last Temptation! Night Hawks is a fun movie and the score is pretty good. I actually just picked it up myself a few weeks ago. Oh, and yes Rutger Hauer is the bad guy.
