@Tron -

Hmm yes, there's been a bit of forum chatter about this elsewhere. Interesting. Appears to be based on a listing that showed up on a release schedule, with a Warners/Rhino lp listed for May. Way too little hard info to speculate however :)

Hey all... forgive the shameless plug!

Let them eat... tape!

Tomorrow marks a year to the day since the release of our first cassette on Spun Out Of Control - the stunning piano and industrial electronica score to Sodium Party by Steve Nolan.

While most one year olds would be enjoying jelly and sticking their fingers in the cake, to celebrate we'll be launching something new.

Be at our Bandcamp 6PM approx. Sunday 12th Feb.

Invites strictly limited.

(Big thanks to all who have supported the label thru' the first 12 months' worth of releases. You're all diamond geezers.)

Yay! Unbelievable. It's like yesterday :) Well... Happy Birthday!

And if you're going to drop something (physical) special tomorrow make sure that it is available outside Bandcamp 'cause I would never want a cavity in my SOOC collection :)

Is it "Dark Souls"? If so, I have already pre-ordered it from Norman ;) I thought there would be another surprise :D

Congrats Spun.

I'm not a tape guy - the last thing I need is another format to collect - but I've picked up a few releases digitally, or on other formats, and every one is a solid release. Thanks for intros to Sodium Party and Bryce Miller - I'd not have heard of them without your label.

Dark Souls is another quality release, and I even prefer the cassette artwork to the vinyl release.

Enjoy your 'birthday', and here's to a successful second year.

Cheers

In the land of imaginary soundtracks, there is a 2-LP release going live for pre-order in 15 minutes. It's Terrortron "Hexed & Necrophiliac Among the Living Dead." Very much in the heavy synth vein.

Pre-order is HERE

You can get the release digitally for free at Terrortron's bandcamp.

Forgot to mention -- the pre-order is $30, but it'll be $35 later.

Thanks for the heads up, Craig. KinetiK records put out another tape a few years ago by John Avery. Very different than Maiovvi, but also very good. It contains, music for several films he helped score in the 1980s. There are still copied available on the merch page Craig links to above. Put it in your ears.

Hope it's a 2x10" or my OCD is going to burn like fire.
I'm not even collecting these and that was my very same thought.
