For me 2022 was the worst soundtrack year since I started collecting records (ten years ago?).
I don't have the feeling that there was a lot released this year that really stood out for me. And me spending money on other things than vinyl didn't help in buying older stuff from my wish list.

Here is to 2023! I will try to make up for it this year. At least 25 Morricone! At least!

Angela Autumn - Dancer (this is just a single but man did I play the shit out of it this year, so damn catchy, if you're into the country folk genre give this a listen)

Really loved most of Terror Visions output this year, as it's all first time on vinyl I say it qualifies for best of the year stuff.
Demon wind, Things, Waxwork

Favorite reissue of the year was the Bubblegum Crisis soundtracks + the 3 volumes that never were issued on vinyl before .
I was really happy about the Rino De Filippi reissues from Sonor earlier in the year. As well as Four Flies reissue of Paesaggi, Zoo Folle expanded edition was a treat.

Favorite boot of the year goes to the Owl with Deepest Cuts Vol 1, second best would be Halloween 3 :)

Outside of the huge uptick in pricing across the board for records it was a pretty good year for new and old stuff.

Ivan The Tolerable - The Continuous Katherine Mortenhoe

I didn’t turn this record off for weeks. I don’t have a lot of that labels stuff in hard copy because I just need to make space saving choices but I get a lot of their output digitally and this is one of my favorite things they’ve ever put out.

Yeah I don't buy a lot of Library of the Occult releases due to his shipping prices so I either wait til Mondo or 2HD get them and then you either play the long waiting game or will it even ship game.

Speaking of Ivan the Tolerable, they have a new non-soundtrack LP and extended cassette available on Bandcamp. Listening to it online now and am enjoying it.
