Not sure if any one around here listen's to or listened to much of Mark but I used to love Screaming Trees and most of his solo work through out the last two decades. I only got to see him once with Isobel Campbell but that show was incredible, some basement venue in Boston with maybe 100 people. I honestly haven't followed much of what he's done over the past few years, he has two or three albums that I just completely missed. Gonna give them a listen ponder my own fleeting mortality.

Huge loss. I met him very briefly in 2001 on the south east coast of Kent England. He was looking for a kebab haha. Always been a big fan though and that voice is one of a kind.

That really sucks he had a great solo career. One of the true grunge innovators with the Trees.

R.I.P.
