Manson was (rightfully) imprisoned for the rest of his life for inciting the Tate-LaBianca murders. And he wasn’t there, he basically just encouraged them and sent them on their way.

This seems like the same thing to me. Seems like it would be worth at least a few years in prison, no?
I mean he should (at the very least) be culpable for any damages or injuries. I’ve heard that the woman shot has died.
