A very good, and very underrated writer and director. He made a ton of infinitely rewatchable, and sometimes rather daring movies.

Gonna spin a few for Mr. Cohen next :(

100% agreed- a really great genre writer/filmmaker.

Beyond clear winners, a few personal faves less-discussed: Best Seller (script), Special Effects, Demon (aka God Told Me To) and his first film, Bone.
Now, I'm off to go and watch Black Caesar at the crib. Fuck Hollywood, maaaan.

Sad news. He was such an interesting personality. I loved hearing his interviews and I've been looking forward to watching King Cohen. While he's pretty well respected in the horror community overall he was a very underrated writer/director. I absolutely love The Stuff and Q.
