Mo is a wonderful pale ale, a reminder of the says when that style was more common. Always happy to see bottles pop up in my area.

I've got one of those shops near me.
Always end up spending more than I planned.

Picked up these for the weekend.
Lunch is great. But I think I prefer single 2-hearted to the double.

I love Lunch so much. And I agree with you on Two Hearted, I much prefer the regular to the double

That lone wilted flower bud drooping down from nowhere is kinda haunting.

Hahaha!
That's my artistic statement on the global pandemic and the sense of loneliness and dread that we're faced with every day.

Or something.

Anyway, I splurged on myself and picked up a couple I've been wanting to try.

Oooo, I've never heard of Wolfe's Neck? What was that one like? When did they start making that?

I'm not sure. Haven't cracked it open yet. Probably will tomorrow.
It says it is "limited," but who knows what that means.

My wife and I went to the Hunter Valley in NSW, Australia a few weeks ago, which is wine country in these parts, and found a little distillery that does flavoured gins and vodkas... so we bought six and have been slowly going through them. We also got a particularly nice samba which I've been making my way through...https://www.smallmouthvodka.com

Well, Wolfe's Neck is nothing short of phenomenal. One of the best IPAs I've ever had.
Very similar in profile to Lunch, and I'd have to try them back-to-back to be sure, but I think I may prefer WN.
It's hoppy enough that you know you're drinking an IPA, but just enough tropical fruit notes that it's not too sweet, yet refreshing even on a 90 degree day like today.

That sounds awesome. I wonder if I'll see any out my way at all.

A couple of weeks ago I was to able the find and buy some crates of geuze from the beginning of the 90s. Stock that was stored after a bar stopped their business 25 years ago...

Wow. That's insane the beer is still good. I love that they are still covered in dust.

I had my first IPA in about 6 months yesterday. They still give me heartburn lol. I'll continue to drink minimally hopped beers. I wish I had a better selection of belgian beer around here, we used to get so many but once the IPA craze took over the selection got smaller and smaller.

Haha. Yes, at least 25 years of dust. Crazy how good these still taste. Just now I openend another one from a different brewer. I bought a special bottle opener to get the cork out of these bottles because with a normal cork screw the corks completely fall apart.

After a couple of years drinking lots of IPA's I am again focussing on the classic Belgian beers.

Now drinking Hanssens

It's actually a pretty tasty hazy double IPA.
I wasn't so sure at first, but it grew on me.
