Nora restaurant was great for a nice date. On the pricey side. Pizzeria Paradiso had good food and a ginormous impressive beer list.

All of the Smithsonian museums are free and excellent, we went to a bunch and saw some awesome stuff-- Smithsonian air & space, National Natural history, American history museum, American art museum, American Indian museum.

If you call your congressional rep ahead of time you can try to get on the list for a tour of the white House.

I might be going in a couple months, haven't been in four years.

thx. i'm heading down to see Kraftwerk in 3D, so by the time i drive 4ish hours to get there and hit a few record stores I probably will run out of time. i also forgot it was labor day weekend, or else I would have planned out a better trip.
I'm thinking of hitting up baltimore on the way back as there are a few shops there I love. Depends on how much cash i spend on saturday :)
