Hi everyone,

Hopefully some of you will remember me despite not posting for a while (busy making posters etc), I always check in!

As a long time friend of STBC I am asking for a favour of my fellow soundtrack lovers. I have started a just for fun blog about soundtracks and am looking for a little traffic boost to get things going. It will basically cover soundtracks new/old vinyl/cd movies/games/Tv

If you have a blog or social media and would be happy to share then that would be awesome! The site is http://filmsoundtracks.org/

Obviously if you think its shit and not worth your time then I respect that also!

Cheers my friends

Great to hear from you, Phil. Blog is looking great, have read almost everything and found each entry well worth reading.
That Satyricon has been sitting on my want list ever since you presented it in your deep cut. - Surely you have deliberately opted against the inclusion of clips, eg via youtube?

Anyway, I have signed up and am looking forward to your next entries. Will you focus on reviews or will you also include other formats?

Hey Waystation, Thanks for that, much appreciated.

I didn't want to add clips and youtube video purely to keep load times down. I figure, if people are interested in what I have written then it would be easy enough to find out more. Although I did think about adding a discogs link but chose not to in the end.

The idea of the site is to have reviews of the music and how it relates to the film. With all our favourite record labels releasing so many scores to films id never heard of, let alone seen, I wanted to dig out these movies myself. Spencer single handedly got me interested in Giallo, something I had never heard of before!

So to answer your question, I guess the site will be reviews, but more of a deep cut style analysis. Hopefully as my writing skills improve, so will the site!
