This has been the worst of all online shopping experiences I have ever had. Terrible communication, terrible customer service (actually there's no customer service at all), terrible everything.

I have been literally struggling to get my orders that have been placed almost 1,5 years ago!!! I am beyond frustrated because I really cannot digest the fact that I paid 180 USD for nothing. I just wanted to share this with you since I don't know what else to do.

I guess Massacre Video is owned and run by a single guy Louis Justin and he scarcely provides replies to emails, Facebook messages or Twitter messages.

Anyway, here are some of the highlights of this experience:

Back in 2014, first, he told me that he had surgery and that's why he could not ship my orders.

Then he was busy attending conventions.

In winter 2014 he told me that he was really sorry and he was going to ship my items along with extra stuff. (He even asked me whether it was cold in winter in Turkey so that he could send me a beanie as well !!!)

Then he told me that he was going to ship my items via FedEx.

Guess what? He did not have time to go to FedEx office for several weeks.

Then he told me that he refunded payments of both orders to my credit card. But guess what? There were no refunds at all!

Then he had a sale @ Massacre Video website and he told me that I could choose some items instead of the refund. Well, I chose the items, and sent my list to him. He told me that he was going to add additional goodies and told me that he was going to provide me a tracking number.

After that, he told me that he shipped the package but he did not give me the tracking number as promised.

It has been several weeks and now he is not responding my emails, Facebook messages and Twitter messages anymore.

I just wanted to share this experience with you guys. This is not an act of blacklisting but a sincere warning.

Avoid Massacre Video (www.massacrevideo.com) at all costs!

Wow sounds like they are bad news and that you have been totally shat on :( I follow them on Instagram but luckily haven't bought anything direct. Maybe drop him a few messages on there?

I tried. I tried everything, every possible channel but no luck. The guy just ignores me.

NMA, you are not alone then. I purchased two copies of the Black Devil Doll 7" from M.V. and one turned up. Without reliving the utter pain in the arse the guy was/is lets say he is a fraud and a liar.
I will back you up, avoid at all costs.......

OMG! Here's his latest reply to my Twitter message:

"I am keeping the tracking number until it arrives. At this point I think you are ripping me off. I lost the original package and the refund.

I am busy; no more harassment from you"

Wow. That's terrible. Looking at his response, it's a good reminder that despite people's minor frustrations with the Waxwork/DW/Mondo/OWS of the world for limited quanities, slow deliveries, etc - this is how bad it could really get. This guy clearly just doesn't give a fuck about the people buying his records at all.

FWIW, that is exactly what happened to me.
First package got lost, second package got lost, promised a refund, never eventuated and then no response to anything.
Ironically, MV records will probably end up quite valuable.
What an arsehole.

Him: Messaging me 100 times won't either. Once the tracker says delivered I will give you it.

I'm at the point where I think you got both the refund and the original package

Me: I got nothing
No package
No refund

Can't you just ask your payment issuer company?
If you don't believe me

Do you think a person who would get the package and refund would message you for over a year? 1000 times?
I am at the point where I don't believe you shipped anything or issued a refund

Look I'm 35 years old and I'm a computer engineer
I don't have time or intention to rip anyone off

I asked and all they said is if it rejects it will come back into my account.

Me: Well you should have informed that I did not receive the funds
And since there's nothing back in your account (as you say)
The issuer company should have something to tell

I asked several times my bank
They looked everywhere... The credit card transactions, the direct transfer transactions... Everywhere

Either you did something wrong (used wrong shipping address and / or issued refunds for someone else's order(s)) or you did not do anything at all!

Him: Well then my money is just floating in space apparently.

So I have to protect myselfx this sort of thing has happened to me before where people received packaged and lied...wanted more/a refund. So I have to protect myself as well

your dvds should be there within two weeks.

I am busy.

Goodbye

Me: I am not one of those people
You have no right to ignore me
This is unfair

Him: If you keep spamming this account you will be blocked

I have lost $185 and a box of tapes(2x) and now possibly dvds.

I have been patient with you. But I am busy and do not have time to reply all day.

Me: I have been patient with you for 1,5 years as a customer!
Show some respect

Him: You have not, I have tried to fix it. I have lost over $300 at this points
