I was at Amoeba/Hollywood in June of last year, and be prepared to stay awhile - the CD/LP selection is immense. I found a practically mint copy of Tiomkin's RHAPSODY OF STEEL lp for $5 there, so keep your eyes peeled for bargains. There's a small parking lot for store customers behind the store off Sunset Blvd., as well as side street parking. Plenty of food/coffee options near the store too.

Just hit Atomic - best selection of soundtracks in LA and also on that street is halloween town, creature features & bearded lady vintage.
Try last bookstore too downtown , first time i went there i cleaned up as nobody knew it (in fact i took several locals there) you can still score stuff but prices have deffo gone up, great selection of used books too - crime and horror section is in the bank vault !
