I know were all about the vinyl but what of the hardware?

Does anyone have any experience with Tube amps? Any pitfalls or companies to watch out for?

I've been looking at a Separo SE88i which is remarkably cheap. Does cheap mean bad?

Phil - I looked at my amp as an investment and as a last purchase....no need to ever buy another one. I bought a Swart (http://www.swartamps.com) and truly believe for the price it is the finest amp I have ever heard. I bought the AST head and cab and frankly, it sounds better every year. Good luck with this quest!
