Ha! I will also take the blame for bringing my friend, you know, the big thor-looking guy that without notice horse whistled loud enough to shatter my eardrum and then yelled at everyone in the line about their bad queueing skills. Oh man, that was embarrassing.

here's the way i see it. i may dress a bit hipstery, I collect vinyl, I do like a lot of "indie" things and i still rock my flannel when the weather cools, but the main difference between people like us and the hipster is, to my mind, this: I like NOTHING ironically. everything i enjoy, i enjoy genuinely, not because its cool, or because its decidedly not cool, but because I like it. I don't like a bad movie because its "ironically funny", i like it because I LIKE IT.
Its not the style or the music or the wax that makes a hipster, its the apathy and ironic detachment.
Like what you like, and let others do the same.
