Well, it's not bots anymore.

Because most forums now have anti-spambot goings-on at the point of registration (I think it's Captchas here), the trend now is to give the impoverished of Bangladesh & Indonesia a (literal) couple of quid to sign up to as many boards as possible and spam the place up. For anyone with a Facebook Page, this is where your money also goes if you're ever dumb enough to Promote anything on there.

But yeah, "General Chat" is the most efficient search when searching for forums to spam, so I guess it's going to be a bit busy here now...
