So spooky. I have no explanation why I spontaneously spent the day listening to all of my Axe LPs a few days ago. Very sad news.
I also rewatched dvd of the incredible Festival Hall concert I attended in London back in 2004, and found myself in tears after the first song. Highly rec'd DVDs/cd set, was also released on vinyl.

That's too bad. I mostly know of him because of his production work with Lou Rawls, The Electric Prunes, and other artists of that time period. I'll have to pick up one of his solo efforts in the future.
