Surprised I've not seen a discussion about these guys on the board yet! Anyone else here think these things are freakin' awesome!? With all these highly collectible, over-priced toys coming out...these are a breath of fresh air! The Reaction line is just awesome because they're really affordable, and they're exactly what any horror nerd from the 70s/80s/90s would want! Cheap, clean and easy.

These were launched by a small toy and art company called Super 7 two years ago. If my memory serves, they had supposedly come across some old, unused (foreign?) Toy molds for the film Alien. Those became the inaugural five figures. Around ComicCon 2013, they announced a partnership with Funko in order to increase exposure/distribution, reduce price, and use some of Funko's existing licenses. Now they cost half as much as they did initially and, in the last couple of months, have launched the vast majority of these new figures. I quite like the Universal Monsters series.

They're definitely pretty sweet. I couldn't help but a get few this month. Funko also has a blind-box horror series going now that I've gotten a bloody Jason and a Sam from.
If only records, toys, and weed grew on trees.

When it comes to toys, I prefer the Japanese Kaiju ones.

I am complete on all the reaction alien toys thus far as well as the horror and universal monsters.

A can buy 10 of the reaction figs for some of the prices of the newer japaense stuff I buy.
