Italian record label & music publisher dedicated to Italian Library music and Soundtracks from 1970s.

Founded in 2013 and based in Rome, Italy, SONOR MUSIC EDITIONS is specialized in synchronization music for films, radio and television. We spread rare and obscure Pop, Jazz-Funk, Breakbeats, Cinematic Lounge, Funk, Psychedelic and Progressive music, spacey Cosmic sounds, Easy Listening and all that good vintage Italian vibes hailing from Library and Soundtrack music production.


SME 37 - MUSIC FOR MOVEMENT


Sonor Music Editions is thrilled to release another terrific jam and a very obscure Italian Library record originally released in 1969 on RRC label (Droga, Traffico, Viaggio Attraverso I Problemi Dell'Uomo series etc.). Music is signed by the great guitar players and composers Angelo Baroncini and Bruno Battisti D'Amario, unmissable guitar man of Maestro Ennio Morricone. CRAZY early Fuzz beats with fast Western swings, Experimental Rock distractions, musical rhythmic movements with totally insane acid guitar & sitar riffs and a huge Underground Psychedelic mood. A truly inspired and deep session recorded for some impossible TV synchronisation purpose. Holy grail alert and original sleazy STEREO recording restored sound.

SME 38 - DRAMMATICO


Sonor Music Editions is very proud to release an absolute Italian Library HOLY GRAIL and maybe the most desired item of the genre, originally released in early '70s on the hot Panda Records - a totally insane Library album conceived by maestro Alessandro Alessandroni and Giuliano Sorgini under their pseudonyms Braen & Raskovich and surely their highest point of collaboration. Concept album where the music is just out-of-this-world and way ahead of its time, nothing to be compared with! - War and dramatic themed music ranging from the most evil Electronics to dark Fuzz distortions and huge Hip Hop beats all driven by a mental Psychedelic madness. A record coming from hell and unbelievable session we've been lucky to remaster from the original master tapes. Enjoy the trip!

Are you planning to do a 2nd run of any of your sold out titles, for example: Freedom Power or Research in Sound?

Not for now. It gets too much complicated with the licenses and there are many Library titles on the market now, so we just prefer to make new titles.

Historical Italian Jazz session originally released on legendary vinyl LP from 1973. Outstanding and magnificent Jazz Funk jewel and first album ever by this killer combo led by Dino Piana & Oscar Valdambrini. An original Jazz Library recording used for the soundtrack of Rai TV programme "SERATA AL GATTO NERO", 1973. Top Italian groovy Jazz and mental album, easily a grail of the genre featuring some terrific breaks, killer Wah Wah guitar and Funky Hammond job, with a solid backing studio orchestra. Loads of laden stylish grooves with brilliant Modal Jazz numbers, smoothy vibes, and Cool Jazz influences with also different musical themes. Every track is just heaven with several hot club tunes for DJs. Solid masterpiece!

Sonor Music Editions proudly presents an absolute Italian mood music grail and one of the best Library Music recordings ever - A.ALESSANDRONI's RITMO DELL'INDUSTRIA n.2, a true legend in the field. This is the maestro most prized and sought-after album, produced in 1969 on the small Grand Prix label, part of the Leonardi publishing group. A mindmelting record featuring some of the most killer driven beats ever! - dark vibes and haunting atmospheres with constant and moody Industrial rhythms, filled with tons of drum breaks, trippy Scat vocals and eastern inspired obsessive grooves. Music has been remastered from the original stereo master tape and the back sleeve will feature deluxe liner notes written by Mr. Jonny Trunk. Limited edition 500 copies worldwide. SME 42 - MARE ROMANTICO (LP)


Amazing Italian Library Electronic and Underwater gem originally released in 1974, remained totally obscure till these days and absolutely impossible to find - Bewitching Underwater music trip made through analogue synthesizers and sophisticated Electronic Lounge mood music especially recorded for TV sea documentaries - for sure one of the finest examples we had of Italian Underwater Library music. Delicated marine themes alternated by hypnotic and abyssal vibes with droning effects, elegance reflected in crystal clear waves. Little jewel for fans of early Electronic music and Library junkies.

SME 43 - RACCONTI DI MARE (LP+CD)



Maestro Bruno Zambrini's soundtrack masterpiece originally recorded for the the TV series "RACCONTI DI MARE" in 1970, directed by Nestore Ungaro. Mental Vintage Underwater Score, one of the best from Library/Soundtrack music production. Music is a total trip with insane Psychedelic and Underground beats to die for, killer drum breaks, acquatic Lounge & Bossa themes and huge Underwater drama moods. The loungy atmospheres remind to sea trips nostalgia with the flowing sweet scat vocals broken by the spaced-out Underwater valtzs and marine vibes. Unmissable Italian OST!

SME 44 - IL MARE (LP)



Edmondo Giuliani - "IL MARE: Musica Con Strumenti Elettronici", originally released in 1972 on the micro-label Dischi Egede. A Mega-Rare Italian Electronic Underwater music Library production - recorded for a obscure documentary on sea in early '70s. Infectious and trippy Abstract Experimental music that plumbs in the sea depths with abyssal echoes, sound iridescenes and marine electronic themes. Addictive record out for our Underwater Library tryptych release. Another great vinyl obscurity is filed and published on our label with amazing renewed artwork.
