Si
I get my records pressed there for a bunch of reasons
A) I have a fantastic relationship with my brokers who are based in Prague
B) If we do have any problems they are sorted swiftly and without question
C) They like what I do and are eager to experiment
D) the overall quality is excellent and as everything is done in one place (Unlike the USA ) if we have a problem with jackets / inserts etc we know where we are in the process and how it will effect the release.
What amazed me last week is that they have a guy that checks every single sleeve by hand and hand cleans any blemishes off and each vinyl / poster / insert is done by hand ... 3 women were literally packing Ms.45 while I was there. I have a ton of photos and videos to share when I get time.
Did yo know our new sleeves are also put together by hand and the tip on sleeves are glued down by a team of people ....
Of course sound depends on the masters used Forbidden Wolrd for instance doesn't sound as crips as Ms.45 because of what we had to work from BUT I think it sounds good enough to release and actually enchances the low bugeth synth griminess of the score.
We have a classic monster score coming out in May that is in Mono with surface noise becuase well that is how it was recorded !
I have never been a snob about vinyl and have bought it all my life , sometimes it does irk when someone that has been buying it for a year and playing it on one of those Crossley suitcase stereos tells me our records don't sound right ...!
