In the USA just order from Redeye Records UK. I just pre-ordered the Vercetti Technicolor LP GDLP001 for £10.47 including international shipping.

@Antoni:

Any word on American distribution for Sacrificio?

I've got American dollars burning a hole in my pocket over this release...

Got both the releases and sounding great .... no download codes though ... any word on that?

Yeah,no DL codes in either of mine, disappointingly. Didn't get one with the Royal Athlete 1st EP also, so figured it was too expensive to sort via Bandcamp. Ah, well.

Be great if Mr Maiovvi scooped up all these disparate EP tracks onto the makings of a great sounding solo LP.

For example had never heard of Royal Athlete until mentioned above, but enjoying the track 'Exits' on Bandcamp that feels like it would sit well within the existing Giallo Disco cannon. Ditto there is his track on Enter the Plague.

Sure there must be more gems we've missed with this scatter-gun approach - feels like it's hard to keep up! :)

@kissoffboardy... thanks, yes, had a listen to Avrokosm already. Sure it's something an artist hates hearing, but personally prefer his 'other stuff'.

The bandcamp set up Giallo Disco had before was cool, whereby you could order the 12-inch and get a digital download at the point of purchase you could be listening to while the post office was deliberating. Thought that mechanism worked very well - at least for the listener/customer!

@Spun out of control.

It is a cool set up, especially with the ability to stream through a mobile app thrown in.

I know a few labels (Finders Keepers are one I can remember off the top of my head) give you a code you can use on the bandcamp even when you've bought elsewhere, so it is possible.

I know this misses out the ability to stream/DL straight away, but it definitely makes life easier once you've got the code!

Emailed the man direct after getting the vinyls from Red Eye Records with no codes - he hooked me up straight away

Ah,cheers for the info @nick1972. I tried asking through the Bandcamp but haven't heard anything. I've just spotted the Giallo Disco email address in this thread, so I'll try that.

Really digging both records.

@Monsterworship -

I don't think they've listed it yet on Mondo. I've been checking a few times a day since it was first noticed as being on sale and seen nothing.

They were up there as soon as the email went out. Not many copies, I think the inventory said 25 of one and 6 of the other when I looked. The announcement also said they would be restocked if the copies sold out. I pre-ordered both from Redeye Records UK some time ago, and I think both have shipped but are still in transit.

Dang, and I thought I was all over that. I guess if there is anything limited in numbers on vinyl at Mondo I should assume I have a chance in hell of getting it like Mondo posters.

It was up on the site before the DW email was sent. Someone posted about it... in the ''new ost'' thread I believe. I bought the 2 releases before the email was sent so if it's not up anymore, looks like they sold out the first batch.

Hi everyone, I'm back in the land of 1s and 0s, (I moved house, had no internet for two weeks) and finally catching up on everything. Naturally taking care of GD009 & GD010 (and our releases for June and September)

So, to your questions:

Mondo: Fuck me they sold quick! Mondo will have titles back in stock soon as well as the two new 12" EPs. I need to get an exact date, but I'm guessing they will have Vercetti Technicolor's LP (DKMD looks like it's gone, need to check that also).

Download Codes: A bunch of these were sent out without codes. But I made a bunch of new ones, so if your copy didn't come with one, shoot us a mail at giallodisco(at)gmail(dot)com and we'll accommodate you. From this point on all vinyl will come sealed with a code from the plant, so this wont happen again. (Fingers Crossed / Knock On Wood / Burn Sage)

Compilation LP: Not impossible, but I've got a 10" of soundtrack stuff, an LP of unused movie themes (because the film won't get made now) and a collaborative LP with a Magma/Crimson-esque Prog band that I used as my "orchestra" coming up, which is more than enough ego-polishing on GD for the next 12" months. But yes, it's a good idea.

OK!

Let's rock!

Broken Arrows are the powerhouse duo of London’s Bill Ambrose and Spruxx. United over an envy inducing collection of vintage and modern synths and drum machines. Broken Arrows are the sound of a slime coated pansexual Club D’Amore as populated by malfunctioning ED-209s getting real freaky. Taking cues from classic EBM, Minimal Synth, these three dark-fucking-wave destroyers are complimented by a remix from the one-man-brutalist-factory known as Drvg Cvltvre, taking the title track and twisting it into a reimagined 8-bit NES grinder / grindr. Mastered by Phelan Kane. Art by Eric Lee.

A2 - Pressure

Garofano Rosso is the latest project by Italian producer Giorgio Luceri, perhaps better known for his work on Jamal Moss’ Mathematics label. This new work eschews the house stylings of previous releases in favour of a more classic Cosmic approach. Echoes of Tangerine Dream’s Thief OST mixed with what could perhaps be the imaginary soundtrack to Miami Vice if it had infact been set in Rimini and starred Maurizio Merli as Sonny Crockett. These are not however just mere mood pieces, but take the sun, the sea and the body-count straight to the dancefloor. Not to be missed. Mastered by Alek Stark. Artwork by Eric Lee. Always Limited.

A1 - Buio
A2 - La Strada Sbagliata
A3 - La Polizia Ha Aperto Il Fuoco
B1 - La Vera Storia di Steve Suaro Dionigi
B2 - Rosso all'occhiello

ALSO:
Reissues.

We debated endlessly how to get GD001 to people, without devaluing the original copies, because, let's face it, if it wasn't for people investing in the idea during our IndieGoGo phase, we wouldn't even have a label.

So we're going to do it on somekind-of-colour Vinyl, maybe clear, I don't know (advise why not?). And I'm hoping this will be out in November. Will be January at the very latest. Then we'll start reissuing everything else.

PS. I have 8 copies of GD002 here, but I don't know where the post office is, so I don't know how much it would cost. It might be better if I send them to Bordello. I'll work it out, more info soon.

Nice picks Antoni, the Broken Arrow track is a crusher. 6.66 pounds each at RedEye, done and done.
