I hope they don't auction off all the dead stock before I can figure out if poste Italiane lost this box or customs ate it or something! Still waiting here

My parcel from cinedelic with the 3 new releases shipped on 2/17 and finally turned up yesterday. There was no tracking update between 2/19 (on the Italian website) and 3/10 when USPS finally showed it in NY. I'm in California.

I have another parcel of stuff I ordered from them that shipped on 2/18 that hasn't moved at all yet. A lot of international shipments seem to be getting stuck right now. Even domestic shipments from NY seem to be completely fudged, I had something that shipped on 3/3 that appeared in New Jersey this morning after doing nothing for 10 days, Sacred Bones (who sent it) said that the USPS tracking is completely haywire at the moment and they're seeing lots of this and it might be weather related.

There's obviously a big backlog somewhere at the moment but it should clear eventually.

On the up side the records are fantastic and mine play fine. Not the cleanest pressings in the world but perfectly listenable.

Oh, and profondita is the biggest Pink Floyd ripoff I have ever heard in my life (it is rather good though).

@lazyben I think a bunch are actually straight-up Floyd covers so... Shame these are now going for so much. But I guess they weren't cheap to begin with. Said and done from Mondo was about $55 per record to Canada. But our dollar is bullshit right now.

Quite the saga for this triple drop.

Profondità on Bandcamp has increased by $15 to $50 since I purchased my copy. Wonder if they're trying to recoup monies due to some issues people have experienced recently?.

Not sure what the justification is, but it certainly seems like ther's a cash grab going on now that these are sold out most places. Pretty underwhelming. I mean, he did auction off his own new release on eBay. Yikes.

That seems pretty crazy to me ...

Looks like the 50 euro copy is a limited colour variant in a run of 70.

@mateo maybe if you get in touch with cinedelic the will reimburse you with a variant.

Something odd is going on. There was no mention of the ltd blue vinyl at the time I purchased, and I got number 120 of the original 300. So there's no way now of getting below that number and yet they're advertising that you could but for €50 rather than the €35 I paid. Unless i'm reading it completely wrong It just doesn't add up or make sense.

I received the Brugnolini and Ferrara LP's from DG today, and like @Mateo, my copy of Profondita is missing the second LP.

@Mateo - any luck on a replacement? I will add my name to the list at DG.

There is no rejoicing allowed until I get my Bandcamp order!! :)

It doesn't even show as having been sent abroad on the Poste Italiane site...

Did anyone here buy doubles of these three Cindelic releases? Things are not seeming so good with this order.

@Texas - Bummed you haven't received your order yet. At this point, I am just going to try and grab the Sorgini picture disc and call it a day. If I could even manage to snag one of those!

@Texas

I ordered from bandcamp. I had an email from them when the release date came just before they shipped asking that confirmation of my name and address was needed before they could ship.

Don't know if this could be related to your problem, I presume you have contacted the label. I'm UK based.

yeah, i bypassed the Mondo purchase & went straight to the Bandcamp site, and scored a glossed cover and a super low number!! i love this album, but i am a huge Pink Floyd head, and this is a very psychedelic trip take on it, if a psychedelic trips take on Pink Floyd even makes sense, but if you are a Pink Floyd fan i would imo recommend it to everyone!! hands down! very relaxing. but thats my opinion. i ordered mine from their Bandcamp site as i said above, and received it in less than a week from wherever it cam from to the US!!!!

Just received my Cinedelic bandcamp order for Under Pompelmo pic disc (missed out on the original black run) and L'Uomo dagli Ochhiali a Specchio (with a fairly low number) - both sounding fantastic this afternoon in the Irish sunshine.

Also received a Metralleta Stein sticker (basically the yellow banner from the LP cover, with a cindelic records logo above the trigger) and a free MagnetiC4 7"... Very nice package.

@Macready - how does the Under Pompelmo picture disc sound? I will probably be looking to pick one of those up when they hit the US distros.

@DM.. Well, it's probably not the quietest pressing I've heard. There's definitely some background noise evident - especially from the needle drop until the first track kicks in - which is quite noticable at mid-volume.

But I have to say that I'm not put off at all. The warmth of the music means that it never occludes anything in the recording, and the dynamics definitely come through unaltered (at least to my ears). Maybe if it was an orchestral or ambient soundtrack it might be a problem.

I've run a side by side with my Satanik picture disc and it's just a little quieter, so if you have a copy to-hand that might give you an idea of the sound quality.

I'd probably still prefer a black version, but this is AOK for me for now. In fact I'm on spin #5 now and loving it :)

My copy of Profondita (From Transmission) was a glorious blue coloured pair of discs, looks fantastic and sounds like the soundtrack to a porno movie by Pink Floyd! I love it.
