I've also got several versions of the vinyl of this, and while this edition has 10 tracks (1 more than the original release), I can also recommend the recent Cinevox CD edition that has 25 tracks, if you want more than something to look at. A 2-lp edition could have accommodated this, as did the recent Mondo version of The Big Gundown.

I consider ‘Metti una sera a cena’ one of the best Morricone’s albums. It was therefore a real joy to contribute to this new edition, providing the iconographic material and the liner notes.
At first I thought to replicate the artwork of the original Cinevox deluxe edition (gatefold with a glued photo insert) adding a couple of pages with the liner notes and posters, and so I sent my copy of the album to the designer who instead preferred to create an entirely new cover.
Regarding the songs, the original album is perfect and so I suggested to add only a track, or " Metti una sera a cenaer (reprise # 1 and # 2)" or the sung version "Hurry to me," and the latter was chosen by AMS.
The album has ten songs and thus ends in a circular way, something that I really liked because it reflects well the theme and the directorial (and editing) choices of Patroni Griffi (Love Circle was the English title of the film).

got my copy last week. i must really admit...this is a big one! can't get enough of it. probably the best Morricone score that got reissued in 2015.

did anyone actually realize that this sounds almost like Morricones score to U-Turn from the 90s? (Sean Penn, Nick Nolte, Jennifer Lopez,.. )

would love to see U-Turn on vinyl one day still. only analogue version available is a casette

Thanks Deafmetal, I'm happy with it. It's been a long and friendly fight with the graphic designer. I'm not crazy about the size and shape of the new Libra logo (I still prefer the 'Motown' one that I used in my drafts) but in the end I won on almost all the other fronts and the final result is close to my initial concept.
