I run a label in Sweden called Pillowscars and after being dormant for a few years I'm about to release a 7" this summer by a band named Tellusian (also from Sweden).

A preview of the cover by Vincent Denis:

It's not from a horror soundtrack but it might give you nightmares. You can listen to it and previous releases here: http://pillowscars.bandcamp.com/

Testpresses are done, just waiting for the artwork to be finalized. A fullength LP is being recorded and will be out in the fall.

You can also listen to the EIAFUAWN LP that was released a few years back, if you like calmer (non-metal) stuff. Artwork by Brendan Monroe:

There's less than 40 copies left of a CD by Collections of Colonies of Bees, titled Stuck. Covers designed and silkscreened by Mat Brinkman of Fort Thunder fame:

Will update the thread with more info as the records come out, thanks for reading!

Good news for Tellusian !
I loved the other band of some of these guys (Crowpath) and was impatient to hear about another release after the split with The Swan King.

Can't wait for the LP.

Tellusian's debut album comes out March 18th! Pre-order here: http://pillowscars.bigcartel.com/produc ... -pre-order

Preview two tracks here: http://tellusian.bandcamp.com/album/collision

Excerpts from reviews:

"Having had the pleasure of immersing myself in the entire record courtesy of the band, I can assure you it’s potently mindblowing metal of the highest uncategorizable eclectic order. Keep a watch, Collision is coming, and you don’t want to miss it." - No Clean Singing

"Within two minutes, they accomplish more than most bands attempt in a whole album. It must be rewarding to know how much is rammed into these intense, complex compositions. This is thickened, concentrated grind, not a snare crack out of place, not a vocal expulsion mid-fired. Getting your head round this in one listen is simply not possible. It strides up to you, all prepared rage and knowing exactly what it wants to say, demanding, nay, screaming repeated listens." - ninehertz

"Collision is all about several styles usually not correlated with each other smashing together into a one fused, cohesive entity that, despite its short length will force you into a state of schizophrenic shock. It’s not that the album drags you through some type of jumbled mish-mash of dissonance and noise, because it boasts extremely cohesive songwriting despite the progressive and ambitious nature of the music, it’s more that Tellusian are able to fit everything, and the kitchen sink, into an album full of one to three minute tracks. Ten tracks; roughly twenty-six minutes. You do the math." - The Metal Observer

The whole album is up for streaming and download now!: http://tellusian.bandcamp.com

You can also get it on iTunes and Spotify. These american distros should have the Tellusian LP this week: Deathwish, Ebullition, Howling Mine, Robotic Empire and Stickfigure. They also have the 7" in stock so you can pick up both at the same time. Super Fi has it in England. Bis Aufs Messer and Core Tex in Germany.

We're also making a CD edition with letterpressed covers that should be out in a week or two.

Here is an in-depth review by No Clean Singing.

Excerpt: "Tellusian defy categorization and cliches at every turn. 'Collision' is an album stuffed with endless surprises and unpredicatablely structured rewarding music. It’s a calculated ode to creativity that breaks all the rules and in doing so offers up something memorable."

Dead Rhetoric gives it an 8.5/10!

As always, thank you very much!
