Looking to get into some Goblin trouble. What does everyone here recommend as a starting point? Was considering Phenomena, Profondo Rosso, Suspiria, Buio Omega and Tenebre. Are these five good ones to start with? Am I missing any must-haves?

I say hell yes, @texas! If you don't have it already of course, Dawn of the Dead is pretty damn essential too

Yes Dawn of the Dead / Zombi and the Tour EP are the two Goblin records I do have. I also have a copy of the Daemonia version of Dawn of the Dead which I really like. There is a wicked extended drum solo on Daemonia.

Roller is pretty essential although it's not a soundtrack.

Both "Once upon the time..." & "A Fistful..." have great pressing vinyl, great sound, and beautiful gatefold covers and inserts artworks by Eugenio Crippa, thanks to AMS/BTF.IT and Mr Crippa for the beautiful work that made these releases, a must to have.
Don't even write about the colored vinyl... gorgeous !

Hi friends, I’ve seen that many of you are happy buyers of the latest AMS reissues (Milano odia, A fistful of dollars, Once upon a time in the west, Phenomena). Hope your enjoyed the liner notes for Phenomena (and for Milano, if you understand Italian) and the poster with all the memorabilia from the movies. I’m not credited in ‘A fistful of dollars’ and ‘Once upon a time in the west’ but I’m the one who provided all the material also for those. I’m the official AMS images pusher!!

Got my copy of A Fistful of Dollars today. Great packaging and liner notes. I always enjoy the insert with all of the posters and lobby cards pictured. It's definitely a short release, each side under 10 minutes at 45 RPM, so I can see why it's a 10". The only negative I can find is that the purple colored vinyl doesn't really fit the release at all. Maybe red or brown would have worked better with the artwork. I would have been fine with black actually. Anyway, I hope to see For A Few Dollars More reissued by them soon.

The second picture is definitely For A Few Dollars More. The first picture... L'Anticristo? That's probably not it, but it's the only guess I can come up with. As for #3, I have no idea! But I am confident #2 is For A Few Dollars More.

Don't know why and probably way off base but that weapon in the third 'teaser' has me thinking sci-fi

... something in the vein of Star Crash?

This sort of movie makes me think there is probably a crazy sounding soundtrack to go with it...!

Plus it starred 'The Hoff'...!

Otherwise I'm thinking a thriller or giallo of some sorts...

I have been loving all these latest releases, especially Milano Odia. If you have time how about sharing a couple of things from the liner notes in English on here for those of us who don't speak Italian?

Great job on all of these. The inclusion of the poster and lobby card photos is a great addition to the package.

Thanks thedeepness! I'm glad that you loved these releases with my ‘friendly contribution’. I think that the images of the posters and lobby cards are of great help to contextualize the listener in the atmosphere (and the era) of the film. Promotional material from the '60s and' 70s was really wonderful and, to tell you the truth, I would always use the original posters for the covers.
Let's see if I can find the time to roughly translate the liner notes of ‘Milano odia’ …..
