I decided to make this overview because I have the idea that Waxwork teases its releases more than the other labels that I also love. They post a lot on instagram and Twitter.
So what did they actually tell us the past year?

First of course is the Warriors album. Around this team last year they posted this clip: https://instagram.com/p/vSUZJUuins/?tak ... orkrecords
The have posted a lot of updates about this release even showing the assembly of the slipcases. I am very curious to hear why this release has been postponed this much.

Maybe farfetched but there is this link to The Shining : https://instagram.com/p/vtqkEBOihn/?tak ... orkrecords
Could just mean they had a lovely breakfast with lovely people at a lovely place…

Not a score but an original: House of Hayduk: https://twitter.com/waxworkrecords/stat ... 3931375616

More Romero collaborations: https://instagram.com/p/zTdJRUuisb/?tak ... orkrecords

First time the Herzog/Popol Vuh collaborations are announced: https://instagram.com/p/0QStOMOikQ/?tak ... orkrecords
Nosferatu is out already and more Popol Vuh to follow.

The Babadook : https://instagram.com/p/2ZQOnguim5/?tak ... orkrecords

Mentioning of goop filled, slime filled and glowing liquid filled wax: https://instagram.com/p/6Nbw3zOits/?tak ... orkrecords

From Beyond: https://instagram.com/p/6T35qKuimq/?tak ... orkrecords

Evil Dead 2: https://instagram.com/p/65fE3duihc/?tak ... orkrecords

Friday the 13th Part 3: https://instagram.com/p/7JJtYhuivy/?tak ... orkrecords
Probably next week!
And here Kevin told an interviewer that they will be releasing all Henry Manfredini’s scores to Friday the 13th: http://limelightmagazine.com/2015/07/23/waxworkrecords/

Waxwork has mentioned they loved the new movie We Are Still Here a lot. In the intverview mentioned in the previous link they hint about brining out that score.

Classic grindhouse flicks, what can they be? https://twitter.com/waxworkrecords

First part of the 2016 subscription: https://twitter.com/waxworkrecords/stat ... 8197153792
My guess is Let’s Scare Jessica to Death…

More Stephen King: https://twitter.com/waxworkrecords/stat ... 3707081729
A nod the Shining again?

Crimson Peak is mentioned, but strangely not in the soundcloud playlist anymore. I can’t remember if it was there to begin with…
https://twitter.com/waxworkrecords/stat ... 5698776065

Another release will have to double sided/double coulored effect as seen in the Rosemary’s baby release: https://twitter.com/waxworkrecords/stat ... 2534973440

This is about everything I could find. Waxwork: keep teasing! I love it ☺
And good luck with everything on the horizon. I will subscribe again for 2016.

Wojciech Golczewski, the composer of "We Are Still Here," has mentioned that the score will be released on vinyl soon. I asked him if he was able to tell which label, but he said that he couldn't; he was going to wait for the label to announce it.

On a side note, I really enjoyed Golczewski's "Dark Souls" score (to the film and not the videogame), which was only released on CD.

So I asked Kevin about that Stephen King bit at MondoCon, and he smiled and said there was, if i remember right, "a bunch of (SK) stuff coming" so while i think The Shining is a possibility, I think there may be more in store as well. Would love a Salem's Lot release, and the art could go nicely with Nosferatu. The Dead Zone and the Dark Half both have great scores as well, and The Dark Half would also be another Romero project...so i feel like that may be a winner.

I hadn't seen that George Romero post on Instagram! I hope they re-realease Night of the Living dead, as it only had one LP release back in 1982. I know it's just licensed library music, but still. Have the CD released in 2010, I just want to see what WW does with the packaging/vinyl.

Super excited for The Warriors. It was supposed to be out in July, then October, now it's November and we are still waiting. I understand though. Pressing times are taking longer and longer.

Wasn't there mention of Tales from the Darkside? This puts Romero and Stephen King in the picture (and John Harrison)

Yeah, Tales from the Darkside was definitely confirmed . . . somewhere. That's one hell of a list.

Waxwork's future releases list is all kinds of amazing !

WW001 to WW014 have been released, I suppose WW010 is "The Warriors" ?

They posted a pic of an original release from Tales from the Darkside while stating how much they liked it. So definitely a contender for a re-issue from them I would say.

I'm pretty certain the man confirmed Tales himself at the soundtrack panel at Mondocon as well, but I may have been in a state of delirium after listening to that Twin Peaks score.

The past couple of months Waxwork has retweeted images for the movie Krampus (release date December 4th). Yesterday they posted this: https://twitter.com/waxworkrecords/stat ... 2592138240
I assume they are releasing the score to Krampus before they release Friday the 13th Part III.

Interview with Kevin from Waxwork and Harry Manfredini:
But, no – I've really hit it off with Kevin, and we're going to do all six, and I know he's in the process of trying to get House, House II, and Swamp Thing, as well.
I am not sure how long it takes for a release to hit the streets when you don't even have the rights. But I assume we're not seeing these before 2017. If Waxwork gets the rights at all that is.

Were House/House II talked about someplace? I've been wanting this forever, the Varese pressing is pretty expensive when I find it or it ships from overseas which then makes it not worth it.

It is in the link above your post. An interview on Starbustmagazine.com with Kevin Bergeron and Harry Manfredini.

I wouldn't expect those to be released soon. First they need to get the rights. If they are going to release this, we will probably have to wait untill 2017-2018. But you never know. And maybe it doesn't happen at all. Or antother company will get to release them...

Oh wow I look like an idiot, it was the most recent post in the thread. I saw it in the list in the first post and didn't even look honestly. Exciting news though and certainly exciting things ahead as well.

Anybody else dig the lenticular 3D cover for F13 part III? I think it's great, and a nice tribute to the original Gramavision LP.

Coming week (probably Friday the 18th) the subscription service 2016 will go live:
https://twitter.com/waxworkrecords/stat ... 2367640576

I also edited the first post a bit. Friday the 13th Part III will be released in January. Probably no other releases in 2015 except for the sub.

Looks like Waxwork is teasing a release for My Bloody Valentine (the movie, not the original shoegaze band) as part of next year's sub...
