This made me laugh and shake my head in sadness at the same time due to me not having one to play and admire. To think people could have had the bargain price of $350 in Jan of this year.

As much as I want a copy of this I could never justify that price when I know of other rarer records I want that go for less.

There's been one falling in price on Discogs, I think 650 last I looked. But that's at least 500 more than I'd ever consider paying for one!

As gimmicky as it is, a blood-filled record with the score from Friday the 13th etched into it makes me happy to be alive.

Agreed. I view this art object as more of a horror film keepsake than as a valuable vinyl LP for listening purposes. A bit of cognitive dissonance there, but there are stranger obsessions in life.

It IS the most I have ever paid for a record, but I don't regret it for a second. I still think it's a good deal. Just showing it to jaw-dropping friends (even those who aren't vinyl aficionado) is woth the price tag.

Would I pay $900 for it as the one on eBay? No. But I actually don't think I would be willing to part with it for that either, actually.
