@Stevsie:
That's a really awesome (and totally obvious-why-didnt-i-think-of-it!) idea man!
A quick F13 story:
Back in the mid-to-late 80s, I was in my teens. I had a "movie buddy" (don't we all?) and nearby there was a small two-screen cinema that showed a mix of sex movies and "normal" stuff. (weirdly, ten years later i actually ended up managing it as an arts cinema for a time....'nuther story!)
So one friday night I'm looking through the local newspaper and I see a print ad for this cinema: that night, they were showing ALL OF THE F13 FILMS BACK TO BACK!!! (I think at that point it was like 7 movies, but my memory is fuzzy...)
I ran over to my friend's place, and just said "we're going, I'll tell you when we get there what it is!" He was ecstatic when he found out!
So anyway, it was fucking great. We got blasted, and by around No.4 (someone can probably tell me exactly when/which film this is, I haven't seen them since...) there's a scene where Jason is trying to kill someone by chasing them....in a slow-moving tractor! And the victim is crawling away in front of it, reeeeaaaaalllly slowly!!!
I got the giggles really bad. I mean, absolute hysterics. And carried on laughing like a total maniac throughout the rest of the all-nighter.
(In my memory, I infected the rest of the small audience that were in there and they joined me for a couple of hours of hysterics....)
It was the most awesome time I've ever had in the flicks.
THANK YOU, 80s franchise horror. THANK YOU!
