Mondo are pleased to announce the 30th anniversary soundtrack release to the ‘80s comedy classic CLUE. Based on the popular board game of the same name, CLUE has no right being as funny and clever as it is. Simultaneously a self-aware comedy and self-effacing suspenseful mystery, John Morris' score for the film keeps up with the mood and frantic pacing while it walks the razor thin wire of balancing tones.

“Re-watching CLUE today you realize that it's a strangely timeless film,” said Mo Shafeek, Mondo’s Soundtracks Production Manager. “Part of that timelessness comes from John Morris' tremendous score, which is masterful in juggling CLUE’s bizarre genre-bending tone. And we are honored to be celebrating the score as part of the film's 30th Anniversary celebration.”

Available for the first time ever on vinyl, the CLUE soundtrack LP features artwork by Adam Simpson and will be pressed on one of six different colored 180 Gram Vinyl colors for each of the suspects (Scarlett, Peacock Blue, White, Green, Plum and Mustard) with each color limited to 250 copies each.

Copies will be available to purchase at mondotees.com in early 2016.

Advance copies will be available at local Quote-Along screenings. It's a decent score, but I'm not a big Clue fan so I'll plan on waiting until next year. Movie screening w/ a copy of the OST is $42.
