Thanks for the explanation if not the condescending tone. I'm not familiar with the CD release in any way and, until you mentioned it, had no reason to assume that was ekwipt's point of reference. Also, a "shitload of dialogue on this release" could easily be taken to mean a lot of people are talking up the forthcoming album. At least to me. I really enjoy the musical cues, but appreciate the way DW did it on The Fog. That would always be my preference. Thanks gain. Cheers!

That Crypt Jam is absolutely awful! But my 5 year old likes it sooooo I guess it'll get played. It sounds just like MC Hammer's Addams Family rap song that destroyed people's ears back in the early 90s.

It was almost $15 per 7" though after taxes...kinda high for a 7", but again it's Mondo so they'll charge whatever they want I suppose.

@Mateo: Was not my intention to condescend to anyone, merely to inform. Apologies if that came out wrong.

I just relistened to the CD and about every second or third track is dialogue, sometimes with music in the background. For example track 3 "The Evil Is Gone" is the whole conversation between Loomis and the nurse as they drive up to the asylum, followed by the sounds of Michael stealing the car. It even inludes 45 seconds of pure rainstorm!

Wow that really blows Garmonbozia. Here's one on Ebay for $28 & free shipping. Not bad considering they were $27 with shipping on Mondo. Only difference being these were opened to verify color.

Is anybody stateside going to be around for the TFTC 7" drop? I'd like to keep my collection intact, but I'm in a plane tomorrow. I've never missed a mondo drop and would be happy to reimburse, trade, and/or help secure future releases to anyone who could scoop these three up for me. Cheers!

Regarding the Tales From the Crypt 7" records - does anyone know if each record has different tracks on it? Or is it the same content, just on different colored vinyl with different packaging?

just scored the two colored vinyl versions of MONDO's Tales from the Crypt 7" just before they sold out... probably will put one of them up on vinyl buddies, but haven't decided which. if you weren't able to get one, keep your head up!

I was able to score the Gary Pullin Eye Cut Out vinyl I wanted. They went surprisingly fast! I went back for the others but they were already gone.

I was able to score the "Eye Cut" though. I had the "Crypt Keeper" in my cart as well but I guess they were all sold out of it. I wanted that one the most. Ahh well.

I think this time, I need to thank people who were lucky enough to get a 7" for making the release sell out before I could buy one. I had that initial disappointment when I couldn't buy one, but then I wondered how often I'd want to listen to "Crypt Jam," which left one track that I'd be paying a bunch of money for. So I thank you, and my PayPal account thanks you.
