Yeah with shipping and all combined for a 7" and one record (Scanners), it's over $50 for me here in the U.S. Total pass on all this.

People from Europe try shipping with 1 SCANNERS + 1 DWJUKE and compare it with the same combination adding a DW LP... ¿?

Well, this is funny.

Shipping to Europe:
35.35$ on shipping buying 1xSCANNERS + 1X7" tri color
24.15$ on shipping buying 1xSCANNERS + 1X7" tri color + 1x7" white

:D

The shipping seems to be all over the place. For me, ordering both versions of Scanners and the Juke, it was $10.65 shipping in the US, which isn't terrible but considering that I've shipped Media Mail stuff over 5 pounds and it wasn't more than $6, they're definitely over charging some. It's definitely the highest cost I've encountered purchasing records online shipped via USPS Media Mail in the US.

I understand that shipping is expensive, and that the price someone pays for shipping doesn't just pay for postage, but for supplies. I do feel that Mondo is making an extra dollar or two in profit from shipping per order. Shipping a record via USPS Media Mail shouldn't cost more than $5. That's $4 for the shipping and $1 for the package, which is generous considering that ordering mailers in bulk makes them fairly cheap (think less than 50 cents). That's what most places charge, such as LITA, which use nicer mailers.

1x Scanners/The Brood and 1x "Angela's Theme" plus $7 shipping to Seattle = $49. I'm cool with that!!

haha I've purchased some suff flippers have been selling on eBay 3 or 4 times the real price, then, about 2 or 3 days after I say "ups sorry, can you cancell the order, I made it by mistake" muahahaha

Using eBay a lot myself, you can definitely get your account into trouble doing that. Unless the seller agrees to cancel, you can get unpaid strikes on your account doing that, and my guess is that people flipping records aren't likely to agree, since everyday that passes means the price starts going down.

Excellent Gary Pullin article. Thanks, @spun. His bucket list of cover art projects is great. As I mentioned in a different thread, a total missed opportunity on any forthcoming represses of JAWS. Damn.
