Hey guys, don't miss my point here. I was not putting down the release as a whole. I think it is a fantastic score and I am really happy to own it on wax. There is just an absolute proper surefire way to ship records, and that is to take the vinyl out of the packaging, leave them in there inner-sleeves, and place them both behind the record, preferably in a plastic sleeve with the outer packaging so everything is nice and secure. This prevents seam splits, ring ware, and this works every time, and all I am saying, I wish the option was available like it is over at Sound Stage Direct. If you order from them they give you the option (at least they did when I ordered the Scott Pilgrim soundtrack) to have the record opened, and shipped like this. My overall point was that I wish more of these new forward thinking company's would implement this so it was not a game of Russian roulette. To have to receive a second album packaging in the mail is awesome if it is hassle free, but lets be honest here, something you buy should not be damaged when you get it.
I did not even mention the scratch on the record that looks like someone touched it up with a small bit of sandpaper. I need to figure out how to post photos in this forum. This is actually only my second post.
